Tara was the varsity pitcher at Cherry Creek High School from 1996-2000 and went on to receive a full softball scholarship to Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado where she earned her bachelor's degree and pitched for 4 years.  Tara has been coaching her daughter's youth team for the past 5 years and recently accepted the position of Head Junior Varsity coach at Lutheran High School in Parker, CO.  Tara has two boys that play baseball and football, and she enjoys giving low cost pitching lessons to new pitchers in her free time.  She also played for the Stars organization and legendary coach Dan Burns!
