Hi! I’m Nikki Chapas, Head Coach of the 12U Colorado Stars and a proud fifth-generation Colorado native. I can’t imagine living farther from the Rocky Mountains than Erie, CO, where my husband, three kids, and I call home. I grew up playing competitive softball and was lucky enough to travel the country, compete at a high level, and make lifelong memories with incredible teammates. While I didn’t play in college (life had other plans), softball has always held a special place in my heart. I began my coaching career 10 years ago with my sons T-ball team then quickly transitioned from baseball to softball.  I am now in my 3rd season coaching at the competitive level and couldn’t be happier. When I am not on the field you can find me working on my graduate degree to become a Nurse Practitioner, at the hospital supporting our community, or daydreaming about new ways to help our girls grow into confident, strong athletes—and even better humans.
